My client is the leading distributor and a fully-integrated producer of tool steels for plastic molds, die cast and forging dies and other tooling applications. Their steel and aluminum are used to make countless parts for automobiles, aircraft, and consumer products. As part of our evolving needs and in response to rapid growth, they have an opening for a talented Manager, Information Systems. 

The Manager, Information Systems will lead and manage all software and information systems projects for five group companies in North America. S/He will work closely with business leaders to help the organization achieve its goals, grow market share and perform at a higher level. This exempt position is located in New Castle, PA. and will report to the Director of Accounting & Finance.

  • Lead the implementation, upgrades, management and maintenance of all ERP, inventory and other software systems.
  • Partner with company leaders to develop and onboard tools and systems to differentiate our companies, better serve customers, and grow sales.
  • Lead the implementation of with sales leaders and other IT professionals.
  • Help manage and grow our online presence, including but not limited to websites, advertising, and ecommerce.
  • Partner with technical personnel and other managers to develop a quality system for the organization.
  • Advance the company's ability to collect, aggregate and analyze data for more effective and efficient decision-making.
  • Collaborate with key personnel to monitor and reduce company costs.
  • Train personnel to use business software systems as needed.
  • Coordinate all business system development, implementation and maintenance with the corporate IT Group.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • B.S. in Information Systems required.
  • ERP experience in a manufacturing setting required.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a business systems analyst or similar.
  • Experience supporting multiple companies and/or sizeable organizations preferred.
  • Experience and/or education in web-enabled business platforms preferred.
  • Syteline, HTML and familiarity a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse backgrounds of people.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined. Strong drive for and demonstrated experience with continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and listening skills are essential.
  • Requires periodic routine travel, including international. Travel may increase substantially during implementations and other projects.
